π In German, every noun starts with a capital letter!
For example: das Brot (the bread), not das brot.
β Always write nouns with a capital letter!
π§ German has **three articles** depending on the gender of the noun:
der β for **masculine** nouns (e.g. der KΓ€se π§ β the cheese)
die β for **feminine** nouns (e.g. die Suppe π² β the soup)
das β for **neuter** nouns (e.g. das Wasser π§ β the water)
π Tip: Always learn the article with the word!
π½οΈ To politely ask for something (like food or drink), say: Ich hΓ€tte gern... = βI would like...β
